I have wanted to visit NOLA ever since I was child and watched Princess and the Frog (one of my favorite movies) and when my family decided on a mini family weekend vacation I was more than excited. Upon our arrival I fell in love. The city is beautiful, the food is beyond delicious, their daiquiris are unmatched and the people are super friendly. The architecture that inhabits the walls of this mystical city will make you stop mid-street in awe. I absolutely love it here. Amidst the pandemic things were a little different, but I couldn't have asked for a better time to visit. Bourbon St. was way less crowded than usual but still pretty congested and the French Market is where I bought all of my souvenirs and even some jewelry. The vendors were polite and weren't to pushy and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Night life was live, though everything closed at 1 am and the street life was unmatched (it sort of reminded me of NYC but not really) with street performers and just an overall aura of good, fun, and chill vibes.
I am definitely going and planning to come back to this majestic city. If you're thinking about visiting New Orleans, just do it! You will not regret it. Until next time.
