The One(s) That Got Away

Welcome to volume one of a new series about the fashion and lifestyle pieces that slipped through my fingers, sold out, or simply just weren’t for me. These are the one(s) that got away. Sure, they are similar versions floating somewhere in the stores or on the internet but perhaps they don't hit like the original. Starting off with a solid three, keep scrolling to peek into my fashion regrets.

Coach: Zebra Print Silk Scarf

deep sigh Every time I think of this scarf a range of emotions flood through me. Sadness, annoyance, and acceptance are the usual three. Sadness because I don't have this scarf in my collection. Annoyance because I had ample time and opportunity to buy this and when I was finally ready it sold out. And lastly, acceptance, some things just aren't meant to be though I'm hoping that this isn't one of them.

Schutz: Arissa Draped Ballet Flat

While on the search for my perfect silver ballet flat, I stumbled upon these. These beauties quite literally fit the criteria for everything I was looking for in a ballet flat, however, I was waiting to see if they went on sale. They of course did ... and my size sold out. I check the website every so often to see if they come back in stock. No luck yet. :(

Coach: Cosmetic Case W/ Cherry Print

This one isn't as elusive as the other two though I wish I would have bought it when it was $80. Now, going for over double on the resale market, I'm still considering if I want to make that investment.

Though these items live rent-free in my head, I still make do with the multitude of other finds in my incredible wardrobe. Don't let a few sold out pieces stop your shine. Until next time!

xx
