Falling In Love With My Wardrobe ❣

February 5, 2023

A new month has been bestowed upon us and with this comes a mental reset and a fashion reset (for me at least).

Looking through my closet over the last few weeks, I have come to the realization that my wardrobe is pretty damn cool! My statement pieces are doing their thing and my basics aren't too shabby.

To achieve this "badass" wardrobe I often thrift and discover one-of-a-kind pieces. In combination with this, I have truly honed down on my purchases focusing on items that I absolutely love and keeping longevity in mind - this allows me to really think about the pieces I like before I buy them (A little tip: If you can't think of 3 different ways to wear an item before you buy it, chances are you won't wear it in your wardrobe (exceptions apply)). Because of these intentions, I have curated a wardrobe that I adore and I am often joyous when creating looks and playing around with my clothes, proportions, and style.

There are sooo many pieces that have been incorporated into my wardrobe that have issued a fundamental change in how I get dressed and I love that for me! Another big thing is playing dress up. This is so fun! I love putting on a playlist and just trying anything and everything on and creating looks for future notice or just because. This allows me to figure out what I have in my wardrobe and lets me combine pieces that I normally wouldn't! If I love the outfit, then I take a mirror pic & store it on my phone for my next occasion. Trust me, this will save you time and you'll really start to fall in love with your pieces!

I believe the key to falling in love with your wardrobe is instilled in where you shop, what you purchase, and the accessories! Accessories are key! This, however, takes a bit of time. Finding your personal style will also help this evolution tremendously. When you discover this pillar in your life purchasing with intention and creating looks will all flow so much easier.

Until next time!
