From Anna Maria Island, With Love ❤

I recently took my first getaway of 2022 and boy was it a slice of heaven. Just 1 hour and 15 minutes southwest of Tampa, Florida, lies the stunning island of Anna Maria. Rich with stunning seashells, leafy palm trees, picture-worthy resorts, clear water, white sandy beaches, and serene sunsets. If you don't know by now, I am a sucker for a tropical getaway (though it was pretty chilly) and thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

The island provided a free trolley that traveled to each end of the island and has multiple stops along the way. This is the best means of transportation if you don't have a car or you want to take a leisure day.

The food here was immaculate. Lunch on the beach provided good vibes and great drinks, while dinner at Bridge Street Bistro was literally *chef's kiss* (the salmon was mouthwatering!)

I didn't participate in many activities while I was here not because they didn't have (they had many: jet skiing, kayaking, etc) but because this trip was focused on relaxation, reflection, and just overall being chill.
