My 2022 Fashion Wishlist
January 28, 2022
If you are familiar with the fashion end of youtube, you might have witnessed a surplus of 2022 Luxury Fashion Wishlist videos and became intrigued. This is not that. Well, sort of.
My particular wishlist is not at all "luxury."
I am currently doing a "no-buy" quarter pertaining to clothing and so far so good. I particularly chose to challenge myself to a quarter (3 months) because I wanted to be able to style, wear, and love all of the items already in my closet. I also want to implement shopping with intention.
Over the past couple of years, I did an influx of shopping and spent my money frivolously on clothing items I 1. didn't need and 2. didn't wear.
After reorganizing, revamping, decluttering, and decluttering again (and again) I realized that I have curated the perfect wardrobe for me. Now, obviously, I am missing a few things in my closet (which is what this post is about) though I am in no rush to get them.
The idea is to go through my clothes and never to say "I don't have anything to wear!" (hopefully).
Right now I am excited to wear my clothes and each piece brings me joy and confidence. I might have to go through my closets one more time to solidify everything but I am happy with my progress so far.
These items are things that I *really* want and am willing and ready to spend my money on. However, if any one-of-a-kind, jawdropping, can't-leave-without pieces arise, I am definitely getting them, who could resist?!
1. Red Heels
This is pretty self-explanatory. I have so many outfits that would look bomb with a red heel and I just don't have one. It won't be an everyday heel but definitely a statement piece.
2. Dooney & Bourke Denim Bag
I've been wanting a denim bag for soooooo long. I have a few in my Poshmark likes, I just haven't bit the bullet.
3. Coach Tote Bag
This bag would be specifically for travel, basically my carry-on. There's a particular tote that I really want but is in such high demand that I haven't been able to get it. I love it so much that I am willing to wait for it and *hopefully* get it on sale.
4. Telfar Belt
The infamous Telfar Shopping Bags are so hard to get but I do want to support the brand while also getting a statement belt in the process.
5. Personalized Bamboos
I honestly have way too many pairs of bamboo earrings to count, and I am not mad at it. However, I do want to add a pair of personalized ones to my collection because why wouldn't you?!
There are a couple of more items I have my eyes on, but as of now, Iām just chilling. Until next time.
xo,
